„OPTICON” (2020)

„Opticons” are three-dimensional forms made in 3D technology. Transparent solids – with a round and organic shape – generate numerous optical illusions and caustic reflections. The shape design process involved maintaining as much distance as possible from specific associations and interpretations. The uncertainty is supposed to make the process of reading the form and assigning it to a specific semiotic field as multilayered as possible. In the case of this project, music is the „access code” that gives glassy objects a semantic sphere, guiding the recipients on the right interpretative path.
